Delete your account

This page describes how to delete your Broker Broker account and what happens to your data. It applies to the Broker Broker iOS and Android apps and any related Broker Buddy touchpoints. If anything here conflicts with our Privacy Policy or applicable law, the Privacy Policy and applicable law prevail.
Delete your account from the app
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the Broker Broker app on the device you signed up with.

Open the Broker Broker app
Sign in with the account you want to delete on iOS or Android.

Go to Profile → Settings
Tap your profile tab, then open Settings from the top of the screen.

Tap “Delete account”
Scroll to the bottom of Settings. The Delete account row sits below Log out and is shown in red.

Confirm in the dialog
A confirmation dialog asks “Delete your account?”. Tap Delete to proceed, or Cancel to go back. Deletion starts immediately after you confirm — there is no separate undo step inside the app.
What gets removed
- Your profile name, email address, phone number, and profile photo are removed from the active account record.
- Your account is replaced with an anonymous placeholder so you can no longer sign in with the old credentials.
- Properties, leads, and buyer searches that are not tied to a completed or in-progress deal are removed from active use.
- Connected integrations on the account (for example WhatsApp linkage, push notification tokens, CRM credentials, bookmarks, and notification preferences) are removed.
What we keep, and why
- Records of completed or in-progress deals — including the broker identifiers attached to them — are retained for transaction history, accounting, anti-fraud, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. Your name is no longer shown next to these records once your account is deleted.
- Audit logs and security events needed to operate the service safely and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
- Aggregated or de-identified data that can no longer be linked back to you as an individual.
- Any information we are required to keep by law or by a competent authority, for the period required.
What this page is for
Apple App Store and Google Play require apps that let you create an account to also let you delete it, and to publish a public web page that explains the process and what data is removed. This page is that explanation for Broker Broker.
You do not need to install the app to read this page or to request deletion — see “If you can’t access the app” below for an email route that does not require signing in.
Effect of deletion
Once you confirm deletion in the app, your account is soft-deleted and your profile details are anonymised immediately. You are signed out of the app and you will not be able to sign back in with the deleted account. Anyone who previously connected with you on the network will no longer see your name or profile information attached to shared records.
Some information is kept after deletion for legal, regulatory, accounting, and anti-fraud reasons — see below for the breakdown.
If you can’t access the app
If you cannot sign in (for example, you lost access to your phone number, your account is suspended, or you have already uninstalled the app), email our support team from the address registered on the account and ask us to delete it. Use the support address shown on our Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before proceeding.
We aim to action verified deletion requests within a few business days. Records we are legally required to keep are retained for the period required.
Children
Broker Broker is intended for professional users in the property industry and is not directed at children. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete the account.

Request deletion by email
If you can’t use the in-app option, email support@brokerbroker.app from the address on your Broker Broker account with the subject line “Account deletion request”. We may need to verify your identity before we action the request.
